Before 7:30 AM and after 3:50 PM Saint Angela Merici
School does not have staff available to watch out for problems
on school grounds or to supervise children on school grounds.
Students must not arrive on the school grounds prior to 7:30
A.M. and parents must arrange pickup at dismissal times.
To avoid interruption during the school day, any messages,
forgotten lunches, books and boots, etc., must be taken to the
office and not to the classrooms while school is in session. The
school office will see to it that the child receives these
items.
Emergency Closings/Delayed Openings
It is a rare event which closes Saint Angela Merici School.
However, during extreme weather or in case of an emergency,
listen to news radio stations 710, 880, 1010, or 1380 (en
español) for further information. In general, if the NYC public
schools are closed, and definitely if the schools of the
Archdiocese of New York in the Bronx are closed, then so too is
Saint Angela Merici closed.
Crisis Plan
Should a crisis require evacuation from Saint Angela Merici
School building, students will be brought to a safe place
located at CES 35 or CIS 166 and parents can meet them
there.
