The Academic
Program
The academic
program at
Saint Angela
Merici is
demanding. Our
school meets
and exceeds
the
requirements
of the New
York State
curriculum.
Every student
participates
in classes for
art,
computers,
music
education, and
physical
education on a
weekly basis.
Homework is a
nightly event.
Saint Angela’s
is fully
committed to
an integrated
technology
program
beginning in
Pre-K3 through
the 8th grade.
Thanks to the
generosity of
business
donations,
alumni,
foundations
and Grants, we
have two
computer labs
with up to
date hardware
and software
on more than
100 school
computers for
all students.
It is
important to
note that we
do not teach
“computers.”
Our computer
program is
completely
curriculum
driven. Each
teacher
coordinates
projects with
the computer
teacher and
the children
produce work
based on their
classroom
content.
Additional
Programs
Currently,
Saint Angela
Merici offers
its students
many special
programs that
are made
possible with
the generous
support of
private
individuals.
These programs
help develop a
well-rounded
child who will
succeed in
today’s world.
